9. This and the following page's photographs visually describe the kitchen with its exquisite detailing and successful color palette. Contextually blending with the rest of the house, this custom African mahogany cabinetry is full of detail and is exemplary of finally crafted furniture. The shaker door panels are all book matched (grain matching) to establish a continuum for the eye. Here again, the craftsman cloud lift detail is used on the glass doors creating continuity throughout the house. The stainless steel appliances are very appropriate for this period of architecture and through strategic placement, create a strong visual movement for the eye. They also provide the chef with all the modern conveniences expected in today’s contemporary kitchen. The granite countertops were specifically selected to pick up the color palette of the overall house. Click for more.
